I’m really thrilled I made these! I actually had the idea to make my own set of gift cards/tags for the holidays (but got a little lazy to do them, hehe), so this really forced me to JUST DO THEM. A huge THANK YOU to Myrza and the FN team!

I just love surprises! Last week, Heima informed me that someone already made a downpayment for one of my prints! YAY!
Specifically, it was for “Tread Lightly”–which is really the central image for “Inflated Dreams.” (See the full collection here!)
They told me it was going to be a surprise gift for someone, who as yet I won’t reveal–but this much I know, we used to go to the same college and she’s a popular contributor for various feature/lifestyle broadsheet titles (I’m not sure if she’s still actively working in media, though). I super duper hope she loves this (and writes about me! Hee)!

Have you ever met such a perfectly floral, feminine, romantic font? I haven’t, until now!
Design*Sponge recently hosted an alphabet design contest, and although I wasn’t really keen on the winning fonts (see the results here), these are two of the entries that really hit the spot (because they are so French and feminine, of course!)…
The first one’s “Soft Wonder,” designed by Jordan Kay Phillip. I love the level of detail and hand-drawn effort put into this one, as well as the black outlines/inked edges that give such a subtly glam feel.
The second one I love is “Ribbons” by Alice Young. Cheeky, casual, and very cute!
